G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê (/ˈg̃ihɘ/ /ˈlɪθɘ/ [pure; wholesome] [fan (enthusiast)]) is a temperate Town located in the Jajëhifitë Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê was founded by Byocthè Dyêbesesí, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê receives an average of 280 cm/y (110 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3366 m (11043 ft) above sea level.
Overview
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê was founded durring the late 15th century in winter of the year 1360, by Byocthè Dyêbesesí. The establishment of G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê's construction back out of the project. Byocthè Dyêbesesí pushed on reguardles, and G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê is buildings are arranged within a network of spacious packed earth streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê's exceptionaly well made fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are reading. The entire town feels like a library, with those not reading remaining quite to not disturb those who have their nose in a book. The longer you remain in G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê the more you start to wonder if you’ve entered some strange open-concept University rather than a town, but you can’t quite say such with certainty.
Civic Infrastructure
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.
Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is long in G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê.
The Tarsier near G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê are known to be more aggressive than normal.
G̈ihê-lîthê Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves orgies to channel Augury energies of tier 2 via proclamations.
Economy
